Today, there was no music class because today was Parent Teacher Conference day or PTC. All students had no classes and the teachers or parents will made an appointment if necessary and I got an appointment with Mr.Singh, the math teacher at the PTC day.

Music Reflection #6
03-02-2010, Wednesday
Today I did my singing asessment "Blowin' in the Wind" song. The assessment was very hard for me and as usual, I was very nervous when it was my turn to sing. We could choose partners to sing and I choose Ardhito as my partner to sing the blowin' in the wind song. After singing, we were reminded by Mr.Herri to create our own individual booklet about classical and popular music that had to be submitted Next Wednesday. I will make an individual booklet about Classical vs Popular Music and I will try to be braver next time in singing or presenting.

Today, I did powerpoint presentation about popular music vs classical music. my partner Rifky, Khriskha, and Disha also helped me present it. It was very nervous for me, a lot of audience are watching and I forgot to make palm cards to read. We are also being told by Mr.Herri that there will be another assessment that due next Wednesday about Singing "Blowin' in the Wind' song. I will prepare myself about the song blowin' in the wind and try to be more confidence when singing it.

Today there was no music class because yesterday there was a wide school play "Rama and Sita" that includes some students, teachers, and parents from this school. So yesterday school ends at 12:00 AM and today it starts at 9:00AM

Today I sang blow in the wind song with my group. The loudest voice in my presentation group is Rifky. After that, we also planned our popular vs classical music presentation in the paper and we post it in the wall so we could know what to do for next week. The duedate for our music presentation was next Friday as next Wednesday, our school will starts at 9:00AM because of the wideplay show Rama and Sita. I will try to sing louder and more confidence in myself also I will make the powerpoint presentation on time.

Today was my second lesson in music. Mr Herri gave us two songs and that was, "Over The Rainbow" and "Blowin' In The Wind". We also learned about a,c,d,g major. We were also divided into equal groups of four and three students. The groups was for the power point presentation about the popular music vs classical music. My partner was Khriskha, Rifky, and Disha. I will learn to sing the two songs that have been given and have been teach to us, also i will do the draft presentation for friday.

Music Reflection #1

Today was my first lesson in music. Mr Herri teached us about the requirements needed in the music class including bringing our own instrument. I also chooses violin to be my own instrument. The teachers also introduce the instrument flute and saxophone. The teachers divided us into equal groups of students for each instruments. I will learn more about violin and take a lesson outside the school also I will research about the classical and popular music.
